McVities biscuits.
Available in several varieties, but the most popular consists of a thin crumbly cookie base covered with a layer of caramel and then chocolate. Don't let the term biscuit fool you, these are sweet and delicious.
These sweet and crunchy cookies are pretty much a staple in the UK. You can't have a cup of tea or coffee without them. I do have them with my tea, but I also eat them for dessert, an idea I think many Brits would frown at. They are also a good yogurt or ice cream topping.
You actually can find these tasty treats in the States, but they are way more expensive. My favorites are the original, the caramel and chocolate, and the dark chocolate... mmmm.
