He's here!

Introducing Ivor Philip Campbell

After taking his sweet time to arrive, Ivor was born at 06:52am (GMT) on Sunday 26th May 2013. He weighed in at 6lbs 15oz. We're not sure about his length, as we were a bit too preoccupied with his sweet face at that point, but he seems to the perfect size for cuddling regardless of the statistic.

Ross and I were both totally smitten from our first glance of his little hands and bright eyes. We just can't believe how blessed we are from a smooth delivery (despite the 'dreaded' induction), to the overwhelming love and support we've received from friends and family, to finally being able to hold and kiss our healthy baby boy.

I'll write another post soon to share more about his birth, but for now I just wanted to share our good news and let everyone know (who hasn't received an email or skype call yet) that we are both doing well and settling into life at home.
