Today was one of those days that I wish I could slow down or stretch out so that it doesn't come to an end. The weather was perfect- a balmy 80+ F, with a clear sky and cool breeze. Ross and I slept in and made our way out to the West End for brunch at Kember & Jones (Toasted brioche with greek yogurt and berries, and a cappucino). After lunch we meandered our way around the West End, enjoying the sunshine. We drove with the windows down and I did not do a single household chore (I may regret this next weekend when I'm rushing to clean the whole flat before we leave, but today was just about enjoying each other and the beautiful weather.)
I chilled out at home and wrote a little, talked to my family (where would I be with the wonders of long distance phone calls and Skype?) before making a tasty cold and spicy asian chicken/shrimp salad for dinner with loads of veg. Now Ross is watching the recap of the England cricket match and I am enjoying the view from our bedroom window.
It is nearly 8pm and the sun is still shining and it is still warm. I think we will go for another wander outside this evening before snuggling in for the night.

- Good food
- Loving family
